Dr. Edward B. Decker, MD Board Certified Ophthalmologist, LASIK Specialist, General Ophthalmology or Comprehensive Ophthalmology Dr. Edward Decker has been in practice since 1994, joining Marano Eye Care in 1996. He is entering his eleventh year specializing in comprehensive ophthamology and refractive surgery and has been performing excimer laser refractive surgery and intralase LASIK since its approval in 1995, utilyzing the latest technology available including No-Blade Intralase and Intralase CustomVue LASIK. Dr. Decker prides himself on giving quality care to all of his Marano Eye Care patients, from infants to seniors. When he is not busy in the office, Dr. Decker enjoys scuba diving, photography, tennis and spending time with his wife and three children. I find it very gratifying to help maintain, restore and enhance our patient's vision so they can continue to enjoy every aspect of their lifestyle. Dr. Natalia M. Rodriguez, MD Board Certified Ophthalmologist, LASIK Specialist, Cataract Specialist, General Ophthalmology Dr. Rodriguez came to Marano Eye Care Center in 2006 after working as Chief Resident of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. If she is not seeing patients in the Newark and Secaucus offices, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys photography, photojournalism, hiking, outdoors and live music. She is also fluent in both english and spanish. Dr. Adriana Palumbo, OD Therapeutic Optometrist After graduating from the New England College of Optometry in 1999, Dr. Adriana Palumbo participated in a residency program at the Boston Veterans Administration Hospital; focusing on primary optometry and specializing in treating various eye diseases including glaucoma and diabetes. After completing the residency program, she moved to New Jersey and joined the Marano Eye Care team. Dr. Palumbo specializes in therapeutic ophthalmology, pre- and post-op refractive and cataract surgery examinations in the Roseland, Millburn, Newark and Secaucus offices. Fluent in Italian, Spanish and English, Dr. Palumbo enjoys conversing with patients and helping them with their eye care needs. Outside of the office, she can be found spending time with her family, exercising, reading and biking. When asked if I like my job, I say that I absolutely love it! Why? Because providing quality eye care to my patients is a rewarding and exciting experience.
