Dr. Sherief Raouf, MD is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care, cataract surgery, glaucoma management, corneal disease, and laser vision correction — including LASIK and PRK.

Dr. Raouf earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, following his undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and Northwell Health Eye Institute, then pursued advanced subspecialty training through a clinical fellowship in corneal and external ocular disease and refractive surgery.

His surgical expertise spans a broad range of vision-restoring and vision-enhancing procedures, including laser-assisted cataract surgery, advanced corneal surgery, corneal cross-linking (CXL), LASIK, and PRK. Dr. Raouf is equally skilled in the diagnosis and management of dry eye disease and complex ocular surface conditions.

A prolific researcher, Dr. Raouf has authored more than a dozen publications in peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), staying at the forefront of advances in eye care.

Born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, Dr. Raouf is privileged to care for the community where he grew up. Outside the office, he cherishes time with his wife, son and new daughter.
